KAT-TUN:

2002: KAT-TUN becomes the first Johnny's group ever to hold a concert before having officially debuted.

2002: KAT-TUN holds as many as 11 shows in 1 day, making them current record holders in Japan for the most performances in one day.

2005: "Live KAIZOKUBAN", KAT-TUN's first major DVD, tops the Oricon yearly chart for Best-Selling DVD.

2006: "Live KAIZOKUBAN" becomes Music Video Of The Year during the 20th Japan Gold Disc Awards.

2006, January 29: press conference, during which their official debute date was revealed.

2006, March: KAT-TUN becomes the first group to hold their own performances in Japan's most popular stadium, Tokyo Dome, before debuting.

2006, April: KAT-TUN become record holders for the highest weekly single debut sales (Real Face: 556,548 copies; Best of KAT-TUN: 754,234 copies) as well as the record for highest weekly DVD debut sales (374,202 copies).

2006, August 26 - 27: KAT-TUN are the main personality supporters for the NTV 24 Hour Television: "Love Saves the Earth" charity program.

2006: KAT-TUN is the first artist in Japan to have all three singles from debut to exceed 500,000 in yearly sales, taking first, fifth and 13th place on the yearly singles chart.

2008, May 15: KAT-TUN is the first artist ever to perform four consecutive days at Tokyo Dome.
Other Japanese artists, such as SMAP, X Japan and Ayumi Hamasaki have had three consecutive days at the Dome, and Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson have had multiple days at the Dome as well, but they were not consecutive.

2008, December 28: Avex Taiwan announces on their website of an overseas (OS) press release of KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2008 QUEEN OF PIRATES on January 20, 2009, including traditional Chinese subtitles.

2008: KAT-TUN holds the records for the two highest first-week sales in 2008.
